Spring is Here

I LOVE spring. And boy, the blossoms on our trees sure are pretty.

Someone else is excited for spring too . . .

She loves to point out the flowers and blossoms too. In the morning as I'm opening the blinds, she's told me, "It's a beautiful day Mom!"

Love that blue-eyed girl.

Happy Spring!

Easter

We had great weather for Easter, even though it was the end of March. Both kids were really into it this year. We started our festivities in the middle of the week with a playdate egg hunt.

Norah discovered the joy of what's inside the eggs.

Saturday we attended the neighborhood egg hunt (mostly the ward plus friends).

Logan kept himself occupied on the toy until the hunt started.

The hunt begins!

Enjoying the goodies.

We ate at Granny Annie's for brunch (so good) with Benj's mom and sister and family. Afterwards we got to dye eggs at the cousin's house.

I could not find my camera on Sunday so the only pictures we got our from Benj's phone. Such a bummer! We had a lovely day at church and brunch at Oakridge. The weather and company were perfect. Hopefully I can round some pictures up from the day.

Happy Easter!

Spring

We've been loving this sunny weather recently. I cleaned off the outside toys and let the kids run around. Logan was busy playing with the neighbor kids, but I got a couple of sweet shots of my little babe.

I love her look of concentration trying to walk down a little hill.

Happy Spring!

Easter Eggs

This year was so fun watching Logan. Hunting for eggs has become one of his favorite activities! I think this kiddo had 3 official hunts, plus looking for his Easter basket.
Pictured below is the hunt he and his playgroup participated in a few days before Easter. We went to a nearby park. I think the kids had a lot of fun.

Doesn't it look like they had fun? Haha.

Logan enjoying his yummy finds. On Saturday we did a neighborhood hunt. It was so much more relaxed than the big community ones. Perfect for young kids.

Norah, a little too young, enjoyed the view from her car seat.Waiting patiently for the hunt to start. We were at a beautiful park right by the mountains. And they're off!Logan saw the soccer ball eggs and threw it. At least he didn't kick it!
Most of the pictures are of the top of his head, since he was too busy admiring his candy to look at me.Caught a smile!

Benj's mom joined us too. After the hunt, we enjoyed a yummy breakfast, including Skittles for dessert (Its once a year - don't judge me)!Easter Brunch coming up next!

Glorious Spring

This photo was taken out my window on Leap Day.

And this was us five days later, basking in the sun. Logan was just a little excited to be outdoors.

Hooray for sunshine!

Fun With Chalk

Logan got chalk for Christmas and we finally put it to good use. Haven't you loved the last few days? Absolute heaven.

We created some masterpieces on our sidewalk in front of our house. Logan thought rolling around in the chalk would give it an extra special touch.

My artist hard at work.

I couldn't get over his little chalky bum. He got what he wanted: sunshine, running around and getting filthy dirty. I suppose that's something I'll have to get used to this summer. Two-year-old chalk handprints. Like I said, filthy. But oh so cute.
