Lo Lo

Guess who's 5 months old?

We went to the doctor to do a weight check and Logan is 15 lbs 13 oz. Growing like a champ and still in the 50%. Mom and Dad were very happy!

I think rice cereal has helped Logan chub up. He loves it, but only if its mixed with breast milk. He spits it out when it's with water.

As you can see from the top picture, he's learning to sit up! We practice every day and he's getting better and better. Logan also loves practicing his jumping skills. He prefers jumping instead of standing on your lap now.

Toe sucking has also become a favorite past-time. It's always the left foot, maybe he's more flexible on that side (or it tastes better)!

He's a happy kid and already has a hefty belly laugh.

You Make Me Feel So Young

Oh Park City, how I adore you! There is something about visiting this beautiful mountain town. It makes you feel like you've traveled a great distance to get there. The scenery, the shopping, the eating . . . sigh . . . I want to go back already! The leaves were just starting to change. I told Benj we need to go back in a couple weeks when everything is in golds, reds, and browns.
I loved the crisp fall air. I loved shopping for sweaters and jackets. I loved eating carmel apples with my sweetie. I even loved screaming (in delight and fear) when riding down the Alpine Slide and Alpine Coaster. Going down them made me feel young (I know I'm not old, but you know what I mean). I loved how Grandma and Grandpa Croft watched Logan while Benj and I could go out just the two of us.
Although told not to race, Benj and I knew what the other was thinking. Unfortunately Benj got a good start and I couldn't catch up. Plus he had no fear and rarely hit the brakes.

I think this picture is hilarious. Benj got stuck behind a little kid and I raced past him squealing in delight, "I won! I won!" He later informed me that the red banner above us was the finish line, not the red track and he had past it first. Whatever.

Although there is a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory in SLC, you have to have a carmel apple in Park City. We munched on Strawberry Cheesecake, chocolate with almonds, and Butterfinger-flavored. My mouth is starting to water.
I really don't know why we don't go every weekend.

A Wedding

Congratulations to my brother Sam and new wife Jenni, who tied the knot on Saturday, September 5th. It was a beautiful day and I'm so happy for them. These two were on cloud nine.

Logan was watched by Uncle Andy while we were in the ceremony.

"Feels like yesterday . . ."

Andy, Mom and Dad. What a handsome group.

I love this picture of Logan and Grandma. This kid got a lot of attention.

Sweeter than sugar.

Go Aggies!

As you probably all know, the season opener for the Aggies is against #18 University of Utah tonight. I have supported the Utes because my husband went there, but when they play my alma mater, my blood runs blue.
This'll be Logan's first football game. His outfit is both red and blue.
Should be a good game . . . hopefully.
