Norah's First Dance Recital

This darling girl had her first dance recital!

We had had a busy day at Lagoon and ended up leaving later for the recital than expected. It was about an hour to drive to Coalville, and we literally made it with a minute to spare. Norah was a pro and didn't act nervous at all on that stage. She was so cute to watch.

I managed to take a few extra pictures afterward. She was so happy and giddy from her performance.

I don't think anyone was more proud than her daddy. They have the sweetest relationship.
Great job Norah!

Memorial Day

We had a very nice Memorial Day this year - we were able to spend time visiting Great-Grandpa Jack and Grandpa Ted.

Norah liked to help water the flowers.

Thumb and hair-twirl - something I hope we doesn't outgrow so quickly.

After the visit to the cemetery, we went to Cutlers and got some yummy sandwiches and cookies and enjoyed them at a nearby park.

The Fire Dragons

Logan played spring soccer this year. It got off to a pretty rocky start. The first couple of games Logan would get really frustrated when the other team scored or even had the ball. The poor kid was in tears and was so upset we took him out of the game AND he didn't calm down the whole ride home. After the 2nd game we talked with him and had him practice taking deep breaths and encouraged him to keep trying.

The next game he had a completely changed demeanor. He really tried hard the rest of the season. These pictures are from his last game. He wanted so badly to score a goal - he got so close darn it.

But he finished feeling good and saying he wanted to try again in the fall.

Great job Logan - we're proud of you!

Mother's Day

 For Mother's Day I got:

-homemade crepes with berries
-flowers
-cards from my babies
-a whole day without changing a single diaper
-a long nap
-sung to at church (I got to lead!)
-chocolates
-a delicious dinner by my sweet mother-in-law
-gifts, gifts and more gifts!

Best of all, I got to spend it with these 3, who have given me more joy than I ever thought possible.

So blessed! Happy Mother's Day!
