Maternity Pictures

I had my maternity pictures done last Saturday and I love them! I stole these from my photographer's blog. I haven't seen all of them yet, but I thought you guys would like a preview. I Love LOVE

I hope all of you had a great Valentine's weekend! It snowed quite a bit in the morning so I'm glad we stayed in for the first half of the day. I woke up early and decorated the table for breakfast. I made crepes filled with bananas and berries.

I made these heart doilies from Martha Stewart.

Benj surprised me with beautiful flowers, chocolate covered strawberries, and even chocolate covered cookies! I think the saying should be "the way to a pregnant woman's heart is through her stomach"! Yum! He also got me a Candle Breeze electric candle warmer that we can take to the hospital.

For a FHE activity, Benj helped me make cards for our family and we gave homemade cards to each other.
I had another sweet tooth and made these really yummy cake balls from Bakerella! So easy and so good!

Mine aren't as pretty as hers. Haha.

We went and saw "He's Just Not That Into You" and then to PF Changs for dinner. It was a wonderful evening.

Now all this talk about food has made me hungry . . .

I Can't Believe It

I can't believe we have only 10 more weeks until our little babe is here. Things are feeling a lot more "real" lately. We got our nursery furniture, we're planning baby showers, we registered at Babies 'R Us, we're attending our childbirth class. I've told my job when I'll be cutting my hours and when I'll be leaving. They've given me an "easier" calling in our ward. All of these things are in preparation for the arrival of our little guy.

I can really feel him growing lately. My husband keeps telling me I'll have a 10-lb kid. I don't think my body will allow that to happen! It feels like I already know his personality a little. I think he'll be a very active little boy, full of energy and life. However, I think he'll also be a snuggler. I hope he is anyway! He responds a lot to music, so maybe he'll love music too. It's fun to think about what he'll be like.

I haven't taken a 30-week belly shot because I'll be getting maternity photos in a couple weeks (right around 7 months). I'm way excited! However, I'll leave you with a few photos and baby gadgets that have caught my eye. If anyone has any recommendations for brands and baby gear, I'd love to hear what you like!

Our Trip to Oakley and Family

A Year Older

Thanks for the many birthday wishes I received! I can hardly believe another birthday has come and gone. I've gotten over the shock that I am now 26. I really don't mind it. I feel like I am in the prime of life. There are so many fun opportunities and endeavors coming up. 2009 will be the year of change for the Bradshaw family, but I'm definately looking forward to it.

My nephew Colton and I had very close birthdays. He turned 2!

He could blow out 1 candle at a time. Me and his mom (in the pic) helped blow out the rest!

Not only was it my birthday but also the 6 month mark (27 weeks) of our pregnancy. I'm starting to pop out a bit!

Viva Las Vegas

I hope all of you had a great New Years. I always love setting new goals and having a new determination to achieve them. We spent New Years up at Midway (near Park City) with our friends David and Becky. Both Becky and I are pregnant and due 10 days apart, both of us also having our first child. It was really fun to hang out, play games, and fall asleep on the couch before midnight! Don't worry, we woke up in time to see the ball drop! We met up with friends Rode and Katie for breakfast the next morning. They live in Heber and just had the sweetest baby girl Olivia in July. Thanks you guys for a fun New Years!

On January 1st, we continued our vacation by driving down to Vegas. Benj and I decided to have one last getaway before baby Bradshaw comes. We knew we couldn't afford anything to extravagant, so we decided on sunny, warm Las Vegas! It's a 6-hour drive, but I think I did pretty well! Our baby has found my ribs now, so he had a fun time kicking those. It doesn't hurt (yet) but it does tickle. :)

M&M World. I love this place! We saw a 3D movie too. This is probably the only place I would feel comfortable taking my kids to.

We had to try the famous In-N-Out Burger. It was fine, but Pace's is definately better!

The biggest highlight was seeing a Cirque de Soleil show called KA. It was INCREDIBLE! This is in front of the theater.

24 Weeks - Christmas Eve

I loved Christmas, but it was definately busy! Between shopping at the last minute, family Christmas parties, and bad weather, I was ready to rest after my vacation! I'm heading to Las Vegas for the weekend. Wishing you all a Happy New Year!
