Max's 3rd Birthday

Max had a fun birthday weekend! On Sunday we had family over to celebrate with us (Great Grandma Bradshaw celebrated her birthday with us too). Even Grandpa and Grandma Croft and Andy made it down from Idaho after dinner.

Here's the birthday boy checking out his presents. He got spoiled with a Hot Wheels race track, train set, 2 firetrucks, a Blaze monster truck movie, Cars shirt and multiple toy cars. Noticing a trend?

In fact, the birthday boy even got a Cars cake. He was so excited!

Trust me, he was excited. Excited as he could be for being a little under the weather.

Loved this photo of Max with cousin Colton and Logan.

The next morning on his actual birthday, he woke up to the tradition of birthday balloons.

We also have a tradition of a special birthday breakfast. He requested pancakes and eggs.

We had to send Logan off to school and Benj to work, but enjoyed a fun-filled day at the zoo!

Note the new Cars shirt.

Oh, how I love this kid.

One more tradition - birthday dinner. He wanted noodles, so Olive Garden it was. Good choice Max. As you can see, he was pretty happy about it too.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAXWELL!

Max Turns 2

We had so much fun celebrating our new 2-year-old this weekend!

It's become tradition to surprise the birthday boy/girl with balloons when they wake up.

Max loved it and the older two loved surprising him.

Max came downstairs and immediately fell in love with his new ride.

After riding around for awhile, he opened more gifts - sippy cups, dinosaurs, and a Mr. Potato Head.

He especially loved his dinosaurs.

And LOVED getting candles on his birthday waffles!

After breakfast we took the kids over to the pond to get some photos (I'll save those for another post) and then we went to Logan's soccer game. After lunch and a nap, we headed to our main activity:

KANGAROO ZOO!
The kids declared it one of the best places ever.

We ate dinner at Chili's where the birthday boy enjoyed a good meal . . .

and even better dessert.
Safe to say Max had a great day. Happy birthday buddy!

Benj's Birthday

Benj's birthday was a bit low-key compared to a lego party, but I think he had a good day. He woke up to gifts and cards from the kids.

He got some treats, a gift card to Home Depot and money for a new suit!

My parents were in town and we invited them along with Benj's mom and nephew to Benihana. It was so much fun to go there with everyone. We were also impressed with how much Logan and Max ate (Norah - not so much). Logan even got a ninja mug and thought it was the coolest thing ever. It was a lot of fun! This is the picture the host took of all of us.

Happy Birthday honey!

Logan's Birthday Day

Logan has been excited about his birthday for MONTHS. There was nothing on his birthday wish list except for legos, legos, and more legos. It only seemed right to plan him a lego-themed birthday bash!
Logan was lucky enough to have his birthday on a Friday, so he definitely got a full day of celebrating! The morning started off with balloons in his room:
A super excited kid waiting to open his presents!

Told you he loves legos.

He had to search for his last gift . . .

a new scooter!

He blew out candles in his birthday cake pancakes and spent the morning putting his legos together.

I went with him to the school where he showed his classmates his poster and handed out treats.
(I need to take a picture of his poster!)

After school we got ready for his lego party!

He helped me make the legohead cake pops (marshmallows dipped in chocolate).

 We also served lego cupcakes!

His friends arrived and the party began with everyone coloring their own lego mini-figure.

Next up - building their own mini-sets. They probably would've been content to build the whole time!

Next up - Pin the Pants on the lego guy. Benj was awesome at manning the games. We also played lego, lego, who has the lego (like button, button).

Next up - pinata time! Benj and I converted a store-bought pinata into a lego piece!

After a round of being blindfolded, we let them hit it without. It didn't take long for the candy to spill out!

Back inside for the Happy Birthday song and blowing out candles!

Logan was absolutely thrilled to receive even more lego sets from his buddies! He was in heaven!

Logan had such a fun time and I think it's safe to say these boys (and little lady) had fun too!
Happy birthday Logan!
